Children's Winter Clothes Swap at the Library

Join us at the Library for our Children's Winter Clothes Swap event. Bring along items your children have outgrown and discover something new-to-you. Whether it's outdoor gear or Halloween costumes, we have something for every child.

Event Details

• Sunday, October 15th
• From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Location: Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library - Children’s Program Room A/B

Swap Guidelines

We welcome the following items for the swap:

• Children/Youth sizes only.
• Winter Outdoor Clothes: This includes hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, snow pants, jackets, and boots.
• General Winter Clothes: This includes long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and sweaters.
• Halloween Costumes.

Please note that we won't be accepting:

• Adult-sized clothing.
• Underwear or socks.
• Face paint.
• Any one-time use items.

Important Information

All items are kindly donated by families and are offered in an "as is" condition. It's the responsibility of parents and caregivers to ensure that the items are suitable for their children.

Due to space constraints, we request that items be brought on the day of the event only. We won't be able to store items before the event or hold items for later pickup.

Any items left after the event will be responsibly recycled through the York Region Textile Recycling program.
