What are the differences between standard card and virtual card

Standard Library Card

  • In-person borrowing and library services
  • Digital resources such as e-books, streaming services and databases
  • Renews every two years

Once the library has confirmed your registration via email, you will have access to virtual services until you visit the library to receive your physical library card.

Please note that it takes 2-3 business days to complete the registration process.

Virtual Library Card

  • Digital resources such as e-books, streaming services, and databases
  • No renewal required

The library must complete the virtual registration process via email before you will have access to virtual services.
