What is the Summer Reading Club?
The TD Summer Reading Club (SRC) is a free, in-person program that encourages children to read for fun throughout the summer! Open to kids ages 3–12, the program runs from June 29 to August 29, 2026.
When children sign up, they receive:
- A special reading notebook (pre-reader or reader version)
- A sheet of stickers
- An access code to unlock exclusive online content at tdsummerreadingclub.ca
Each week, kids come to the Library to report their reading, do fun activities, and collect raffle tickets for exciting weekly prizes!

Events & Activities
Each week includes drop-in activities like crafts, games, and themed worksheets that match the weekly theme. All events are free to attend with no registration required. Please note: Space and supplies are limited. Participation will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reporting Hours
Kids report their reading during weekly in-person sessions at the Library. During reporting hours, children read with teen volunteers, check in their minutes, and do activities tied to that week’s theme.
Reporting Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 10 AM – 12 PM, 2 PM – 4 PM, 6 PM – 8 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10 AM – 12 PM, 2 PM – 4 PM
- Saturday: 11 AM – 1 PM
Attending weekly reporting hours increases chances to win prizes!
Prizes
Every 15 minutes of reading = 1 raffle ticket
Tickets go into themed prize boxes, and winners are drawn weekly!
Read more = more tickets = more chances to win!
All types of reading count: books, comics, audiobooks, eBooks, even bedtime stories.
